Prepare With ICEBUDDY

Emergency of NOW!

Pamela Norris

Learn how U.S. companies have been sounding the alarm for Emergency Preparedness. Present conditions due to the COVID19 pandemic demonstrates the urgent need for emergency preparedness has fallen on deaf ears.

Speaker 1:

I think we can agree the world is becoming a more complicated place and life as we have known it is changing. If you're anything like me, you have to be wondering what's going to happen next. First, we have the Corona virus. It started as an epidemic and is now spreading to become a global pandemic and then there's the tornadoes that have caused utter destruction, requiring people to evacuate their homes and for medications requiring refrigeration to be destroyed because of extended power outages. As we here at, ICEBUDDY Systems, Inc. are being contacted about our products that are designed for just such a situation as this. I'm being asked what moved me to design these products in such a manner that they help so many people in need? Well, the answer is it was born of a vision that resonated with my life's journey. For years I was a teacher and during fire drills I noticed that school nurses never brought the students medications out to the yard when we went out for the fire drill, I knew something was wrong with that. I also was a social worker and I had patients who required medications that had to stay refrigerated, so I had to be concerned about power outages that would put my patients at risk. I was a security consultant for over 20 years and wrote evacuation plans to tell businesses about emergency preparedness and I was a first responder with the Salvation Army and saw families and their pets come into evacuation centers with their medications requiring refrigeration and having nothing to put it into. I have loved ones who use insulin and can't travel globally with me because there isn't anything on the market that allows them to keep their medication cold long enough to take these trips. I also have attended churches that are not prepared to help their congregations in times of need and their congregations are not being taught how to be self reliant. And lastly, I have lived by water my entire life in New Jersey, Sag Harbor, Long Island, Arundel on the Bay, Maryland, Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, and now here in Maui, Hawaii. I know the inherent dangers of living along the water, and I'm quite aware of the particular needs of those who live on islands. The news media is peddling fear. We here at ICEBUDDY Systems, Inc. want you to learn to live by our motto, Keep Cool and Carry On. Now you can only do that by being prepared so you do not panic. So we're here to teach you how to be able to be self sufficient and self reliant.
