ICEBUDDY Systems, Inc. prepares families to Keep Cool and Carry On before, during and after disasters. Lists are everywhere on social media and the web about what to pack in your Go Bag should you have to evacuate your house? We make sure that information is available as resource material, but what sets us apart from others is that we make sure you have rarely discussed information that is critical to your safety, health, and survival. Information that comes fro FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE not just book knowledge. Ask us questions and we'll post the answer so everyone can benefit from the information. Here is a question that came in recently. We were asked, what can I pack that does double duty? My bag is too full and too heavy!! Well, here are two suggestions for starters. Do you know that packing BAKING SODA will suffice for treating heartburn, mouthwash, canker, sores, deodorant, relieving, itchy skin, and sunburns, neutralizes, odors, and clothes and shoes cleans fruit and vegetables and can function as shampoo for washing your hair. Also, did you know that packing PETROLEUM JELLY will help heal minor skin scrapes. And burns moisturize your entire body and great for chapped lips, cover your skin in it to reduce mosquito bites, can be used to lubricate stuck objects. And if you coat cotton balls with it and keep it in a zip black bag, you can use it whenever you need a starter for a fire. These two items alone can replace approximately 15 to 20 other items and lighten your load. Remember, when you pack light, you're able to KEEP COOL and CARRY ON.
